This is a great starter set for beginners on a budget In this starter set you will get. You can raise any colony in this outworld until they fill out the two test tubes, which is usually enough to move them into a medium sized formicarium.
These kits are similar to how we keep ants in-house

- Esthetic Ants Blank Medium Ytong Nest x 1. Due to a stock shortage, we are currently sending these kits with Small Ytong Nests. The Kits have been discounted accordingly
- An ant colony of your choice 1 2 3
- As an alternate to an ant colony, you can receive an ant colony voucher for a colony of ants. We highly suggest this option!
Here are Guidelines to Select Ant Colonies
- Colonies with workers will be more active and easier to care for
- Pavement Ants are hardy, but are small and can eat seeds
- Black Garden Ants are hardy and aggressive, but do better with a dormant period
- Hercules Carpenter Ants are large and creates soldiers but need a dormant period of 3-4 months
- Chestnut Carpenter Ants are active year round, large, and creates soldiers

Unlike your customer support the ants are totally fine
It was good you should add another test tube
We ordered a starter kit which arrived quickly. The kit came with no instructions and a mix of varied items. We were unclear how to connect things up or to start going.
I had called the owner of the site (Zach) before ordering and he advised that we would receive a full kit along with instructions but clearly this wasn't the case.
I contacted the seller by email requesting advice on how to set up and their response was that there were a lot of instructions to find online. They also asked for a photo of what we sent to them (didn't they send it to me?!!) so they could assess and advise how to set it up.
The ants came in a test tube with water at the base, cotton in the middle, ants on top and a cotton stopper. The mid level cotton slowly saturated and the water came through to the point that the ants all drowned.
I contacted the seller several times after this by email and phone call (including to the owner Zach) and they didn't respond.
There are much better sites out there. Take your time researching before placing an order to find a better seller. This was a waste of money for me.

I bought a Hercules Carpenter ant colony with this kit and it came extremely fast before it's expected time on the cheapest shipping. It includes everything that you could possibly need and has been one of the best nests I've ever used!
Take a mount and a half and didnt receive anyting . The owner aswer me but never give me detail.he claim 3 time that it will be ship by next monday but everytime noting hapen. i just finaly ask for a refund .
