Dandelion Seeds (Taraxacum officinale) appear to be the number one staple food source for most of our seed-eating ants, particularly for Western Harvester Ants, Pogonomyrmex occidentalis. These ants can survive and even thrive based solely on these seeds. Tetramorium spp, Messor spp also seem to be able to survive on a diet of solely seeds. Myrmica spp and Solenopsis spp will also take these seeds.
We offer the following sizes:
- 10g seeds (~0.3 oz)
