收藏: Supercolonial Ants

Okay, okay, technically these aren't just supercolonies. They're ans which are multicolonial or supercolonial. These ants build vast, interconnected networks of colonies that work together as one. With multiple queens, no aggression between nests, and enormous population sizes, supercolony ants are a marvel of cooperation and expansion.

While ants with supercolonies will work together with unrelated ants, while multicolonial ants only collaborate with relatives (e.g. sister or cousin colonies). We source our multicolonial ants from isolated populations which are often a bit more inbred and willing to work together, meaning that you can combine any number of the colonies of these species you purchase from us here.
